For centuries, the brilliance of many composers — particularly those of African descent — has remained obscured within the margins of history. Their manuscripts were scattered, their names omitted from archives, and their contributions diminished or forgotten.
The Niets Foundation is dedicated to the scholarly restoration, preservation, and elevation of these legacies. Through research, reconstruction, and public access, we return their voices to the stage of history.

Digitizing manuscripts, restoring historical works, and safeguarding musical heritage for future generations.

Partnering with historians and musicologists to reconstruct and contextualize lost legacies with accuracy and dignity.

Ensuring restored works are available to all — scholars, musicians, educators, and young learners of all abilities.

Virtuoso violinist whose brilliance inspired works lost to time.

Composer, conductor, and luminary of the 18th-century Parisian stage.

Trailblazing American composer whose symphonies transformed musical history.
